Include God in your Day!😇

Most of us live a double standard. We want God 24/7 on duty to be there when we call upon him. We ask Him to shower us with His love to make us feel better emotionally, protection from all harm, healing when we are sick , plus God be sure all our needs are met. Yes, he does all of that unconditionally. However, most of us want to give him our time only when it is convenient for us. We may go through an entire day and not say one word to him. God wants a true relationship with us. He wants us to love him. He wants to be part of our entire day. From morning until we lay our head down and turn out the lights. God does not want to be a silent partner. When he came into your life you now belong to him. We are His hands, feet and voice. He wants His light to shine though us to everyone he puts in our path. God wants us to treat others with Love, Compassion and Kindness. We need to have an unselfish attitude. He reminds us “Do unto other as you want others to do unto you.” He gives us fruit of the spirit from the Holy Spirit, to live by and to share with the world.

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.”

Good Morning Heavenly Father,
What plans do you have for me today? You lead the way and I will follow. My days are full of joy, and opportunities when I invite you to be part of my day. Thank you Lord, You are in charge. In Jesus name, Amen
