What a great day that will be! The spiritual warfare will be over, Satan will lose the battle. Then there will be happy ever-after, forever and ever. Amen.

What a great day that will be! The spiritual warfare will be over, Satan will lose the battle. Then there will be happy ever-after, forever and ever. Amen.
My mother has had a rough couple of years with her depression. It has taken her to an alcoholic state just to numb herself daily and it has saddened our families heart. After years of hard prayer she was able to find a doctor who was able to prescribe her the right depression meds and she seems to be doing quite well. That isn’t the only praise however that was spectacularly awesome! My father was going on a business trip and asked my mother to go with him. It is a week long trip to the beach where they used to live and since my mother’s birthday is at the same time, she agreed. My wife and I prayed that she would experience a really cool blessing while she was away and God answered. The day before her birthday we gave my folks a call and my mother answered. She proceeded to tell us about a whale watching trip they had taken and how excited she was. Instead of seeing a whale they saw a pod of around 300 dolphins that were jumping and playing all around their boat! If that is not a blessing than I don’t know what is. The sound of happiness in my mother’s voice made me smile and I automatically praised God. If you have been going through something really tough in your life, feel free to ask God for a blessing in your life or maybe someone else’s. God bless you all and have a great day!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us to praise God in all circumstances. Not sometimes or maybe, or if we feel like it. I know this can be hard especially on days where it feels like nothing is going your way. Every morning my family gathers in a circle to pray and every morning we pray for at least one thing that we are thankful for giving God His praise. You could have had a car wreck and your wife left you on the same day but yet you still hit your knees and praise God for the family that is visiting you or that you are still alive. That is the “ALL”, that is talked about in this verse! Our bad days are going to happen, however God wants us to see the blessings and light in our life no matter the turmoil. The day my grandfather died was such a relief to me and I know that sounds terrible. The last month of his life was very painful to say the least. He had broken his pelvis, hip and tail bone in a fall and because he was 94 years old they wouldn’t operate. He couldn’t get comfortable even lying on a super soft bed. The doctors had given him some meds to full the pain but he kept moaning in pain and had to be restrain as not to roll out of his bed. The day he past on he looked so peaceful and I praised God for relieving him of his pain. I challenge you today to praise God every chance that you have. Praise Him for the air you breathe or that you have a sandwich to eat. Running water, heat in your house, or that we have the opportunity to go to church because in some countries you can be killed for doing just that. I praise God this morning that He gave me the ability to write this message and that it impacts someones life today. God bless you all and may you see the light through the darkness today.
This morning, I read today’s verse from the message version of the Bible and was impressed to share it.
So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud NO to the devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet YES to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet. James 4:7-10 MSG

Luke 10:38-42 is a story of Mary and Martha entertaining Jesus when He stopped by their home. Mary had sat with Jesus and was hanging to His every word. Martha, on the other hand was in the kitchen food prepping and cooking for all of them. With so much to do she had allowed herself to get upset because Mary hadn’t been helping. Martha went into the other room and told Jesus to tell Mary that she should be working with her. Jesus simply replied that she had to much to do and should be making time for what He has to say. More often then not we what to do so many different things that it interferes with our personal relationship with God. We can feel like there’s never ending chores or kids activities to attend to and then work on top of that. There’s a couple of different things we can do. Get rid of material items that are u needed giving us less to clean, giving more time alone with God. Make time in-between honeydew’s or errands to be in prayer. My personal favorite is praying before my day begins and throughout the day making sure that I have open communication. Whatever the case may be. Just make sure to have time set aside for our creator.

Jesus said, “Don’t let you hearts be troubled, trust in God, and trust in me.” There are many rooms in my Father’s house; I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am.
What a wonderful promise to claim!
