My prayer for you!

Several years ago a friend wrote this verse in a get well card to me. I had been in bed for a week with the good old H1N1 flu, nothing life-threatening but it definitely knocks you down. When I read the words, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. I was uplifted to be reminded that even though we all face sickness and trials that it doesn’t affect our spiritual walk with God. I am sure that you know someone that could use a little encouragement today. Let them know that you are praying for them to be healthy physically just as they are spiritually,.

Temptation and trials

We are not tempted by God. There are many people out there that believe that God tempts us with sin. God will never tempt us, however, He does allow the devil to tempt us. God actually did this with Job. He was tempted brutally but still prevailed through his faith in God. His land and family was taken from him and his wife even came to him, calling him a fool and that he should curse God for this. Job said something truly awesome however that can increase our faith. Job 2:9-10 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die! “He replied,” You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God and not trouble? ” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. When we are sick in the hospital or have deaths in the family. When we have car accidents or extreme financial burdens. Are these things really accidents? Is our God testing our faith in Him? How many people disown God when these things happen in their lives? A young child dies or the bank takes our home and we wonder why a great loving God can let these things happen. We will be allowed testing by the devil! It’s up to us relying on our faith in God to get us through it. I’ve failed many times in these trials, but ever trial makes me stronger with Him. Are you strong enough? Are you weak in these areas and need God to help you through it? The answer is YES!!! We all need our Heavenly Father, but will you accept His help or turn from Him. Please join me in this prayer if you want God’s help. Heavenly Father please help us to be stronger through these trials in life. Help us to be stronger than the devil’s Temptations. We love you and want to walk with you forever. In Jesus precious name amen.
