God watches over you!

The best gift you can give!
My friend asked me a few months ago to join weight watchers which are now called WW. Shelly is a lifetime member who has lost 80 pounds and kept it off for eight years. She hesitated when she asked me, ” Karen, I wanted to let you know WW is having a special promotion this month if you want to join, but you don’t have too.” as she stumbled over her words she continued, ”I’m not saying you need to or anything like that.” I smiled knowing that I definitely needed to join. I had put on weight in the past two years and had stopped my morning walks and Zumba class. I was too busy to take care of myself. My mom was sick before her passing then my sister was very sick. My eating habits were out of control and I knew I needed to get off the binge I was on. ”yes” l said to Shelly, ”I would love to join, ” I have currently lost 20 pounds and started my walking routine again. All because a friend cared enough to Ask.
I thanked Shelly today for not letting her fear that I might have been offended stop her from inviting me. It is the same with sharing God with others. We are to plant the seeds and water them. God prepares hearts and the Holy Spirit germinates the seed for it to grow. Introducing people to Jesus is the greatest gift you can give someone. Do it with love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. Remember your actions speak louder than words. Live the life that God has blessed you with by sharing it with others.
Guard your heart!

Every day we need to be aware of the enemy and his deception. Compromising our convictions gives the devil an upper hand. Remember, guard your heart and do what you know is right for everything that you do flows from your heart. When the Holy Spirit controls your life it produces the fruit of the spirit that will flow within you. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control is what God gives you to live by and share with others.
God give me self control!

I find, when I let anger grow in me I am out of control. I want to yell, scream and let the world know that I am upset. My mind is going a mile a minute on what I’m going to say and do. Wait! Who’s in control? oh, no I just gave Satan a foothold to lead me down the wrong path.
Dear Lord, I am your daughter please help me to always reflect you in everything I do. Please give me self control when anger starts to enter my mind and replace it with your Holy Spirit. Amen😇 Karen
Give praise to God!

God provides
I have a torn rotator cuff and the pain has been pretty intense the last couple of weeks. The Job that I’m currently on is installing a new fence and the thought of digging fifteen posts holes sounded painful. Every morning in my prayers I prayed that God remove the pain just for that day and it’s like God has answered by giving me a new shoulder, I haven’t even had to ice it at the end of the day! I was also working on tearing off a roof the week prior as a gift to the Oakdale Rescue Mission when I got the news that my shoulder was messed up and wasn’t able to finish the demolition. God sent a number of friends to tear it off for me, plus all the wood rot was removed, and they loaded the roof with the materials that were needed to complete the task. My wife has been in pain the last couple of years and this last couple of days our doctor placed her on a new medication that has almost totally removed that pain, making my wife smile alot larger and her mood has changed to a happier one. God provides friends for us that help us through tough times, doctors to fix all kinds of illnesses, relief in all areas and so much more. Don’t be afraid to ask God to provide for your needs today, He will answer. God bless you and have a great day!
” I will provide for their needs before they ask, and I will help them while they are still asking for help. Isaiah 65:24

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
