Waiting For Jesus To Return!

Hearts Desire! ❤️
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank You for showing us the ways we can choose to go, heaven-bound or eternal death. Do we just not want to see that, or has the evil one blocked our minds, hearts, eyes? Thank You for loving us and paying the price forward for each of us. As we go about each day help us remember You, and Your love for us as individuals, Your patience that You have shown us over the years or with someone we know, let us show someone in our lives that mercy, Your compassion You have for us knowing our hearts, knowing how we think, feel and see things, let us have some of that for complete strangers, help us become more and more like our Perfect Example, and as we do, help us cut out some of ourselves, our sinfulness, and greed. Thank You, Lord, for this desire, that comes from You. I ask for comfort for all that needs Your comfort, I ask for peace within for all who are trying to numb
themselves, who have depression or anxiety, I ask for Your hope, where there is none or very little, I ask for Your healing, where the medical people have no answers, solutions, or give no hope of recovery. Use us today to tell someone that You love them, no matter what they have done, that there is a Savior that never leaves their side, they need only to open their heart to You. Heavenly Father I ask all these things in Your precious and holy Sons name Jesus Christ, according to Your will. Amen. Shelly

I’ve been struggling with my weight for the last couple of years and it’s not for the lack trying. I’m not a thin man by any means so 260 lbs is a great weight for me unlike the 367 that I’m at currently. Yesterday I purchased a gym membership and made up my mind to ignore all my medical problems. I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed and drove to the gym. After about a mile and a half of brisk walking on the inclined treadmill I became extremely exhausted. My prayers these last couple of years has consisted of asking God for the physical strength to lose weight. This morning it’s like His Holy Spirit was nestled in my mind encouraging me to turn on some Christian videos, so I did. Engrossed in these videos, feeling the words with all my being had kept me going! I ended up with 2 3/4 s of a mile and a Spirit fully recharged! God is great and amazing. I thank God for not only His answer to my prayers over physical strength but Spiritual growth as well. Thanks for speaking to me Lord through the Bible, video, radio, friends and family. Thank you for always being with me, in me, and around me! In Jesus name amen. Are you thankful for something special today? Dear Heavenly Father, You are good, and Your steadfast love endures forever! Even in the hardest seasons, I always have a reason to worship You.
Thank You for giving me victory and abundant life in Jesus Christ! Although I don’t deserve it, You shower me with unconditional love and forgiveness.
And so no matter what the future may hold, I will shout for joy because You are with me. You comfort me and bless me in the presence of my enemies. Nothing compares to You and no weapon can stand against You. In all things, I am more than a conqueror through You!
Be glorified through me, God. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart bless Your name.
I want my life to bring You praise.

Living with Hope!
When Lazarus died, Scripture tells us that, Jesus wept. Even though Jesus knew he was going to raise Lazarus from the dead. He was overcome with compassion for the family. He knew and felt the unbearable loss of their brother and friend. During the pandemic, most of us have lost a friend or family member. We also have experienced the overwhelming loss of death. My sister passed in December 2020 during the Covid restrictions. We were unable to see her in the hospital before she died. I didn’t realize until recently, that I was carrying guilt and anger that my sister was not surrounded by loved ones when she died. Then I remembered her last text, God Is With Me! Who better to be with you when you pass from this world than your Heavenly Father, God.
When Jesus died on the cross for our sins He didn’t leave us alone. He said, I have to go so the comforter can come to lead, guide, teach, convict, encourage, and comfort us. The Holy Spirit gives us hope that we will see our brothers & sisters in Christ again.
“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.”
