Abide In Me!

““I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples.”

God is worthy of praise!

“Hallelujah! Thank God! Pray to him by name! Tell everyone you meet what he has done! Sing him songs, belt out hymns, translate his wonders into music! Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs, you who seek God. Live a happy life! Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence. Remember the world of wonders he has made, his miracles, and the verdicts he’s rendered— O seed of Abraham, his servant, O child of Jacob, his chosen.”

Humble

Ephesians 4:2 be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Yesterday was my first time working after being sick for about 4 months now and before that the jobs I had done were lighter than normal. The only reason that I had accepted the job was that I had two family members working on it as well. I had worked with one of them but not the other. I wasn’t sure how this was going to pan out because all three of us are more like bosses instead of gophers or grunt laborers. On every job, I pray for not only safety but that God is working through our hands to have these jobs done to the best of our ability. Every time I have prayed this prayer I end up taking my time and focusing on what should be done instead of how fast I can get it done. Second chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. After this prayer, the three of us had worked together and got a two-day job done in one day to perfection! We had some nice conversations and it tested me in regards to sharing and not trying to take control. I learned a lot from both of these gentlemen and I ended up stepping back when they had a better idea than what I was thinking. I haven’t always been the best boss, but over the years God has shown me it’s better to be a servant than a bad leader. When we end up serving others we end up placing them before ourselves. Throughout the Bible that’s what Jesus did, he placed others in front of himself, loved strangers, and encouraged the lost. Ever since I started applying this to the jobs that I get they have come out so much better than me trying to take over and take charge. Imagine for a second Jesus coming down and being the most powerful being that he is taking over everything and everyone, not caring about others and their problems. I think that his miracles wouldn’t have been as great because he would be doing it all for himself and His glory in regards to riches and power. Instead, he loved with a passion that we can only dream of having. He not only fed us physically but spiritually as well. The miracles he performed were for others, to change the very way that we see God and others. I am very proud of how God has interceded in my life how he has taught me and shown me to be more humble at work. I’m still working on that at home with God’s help to be a better father and husband. But I know with God leading and guiding me I will prevail. Philippians 2:3 do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. James 4:10 humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you. If you would like to be more humble in your life today giving your day to God and the way it should go, then please join me in prayer. Dear heavenly father thank you so much for yet another beautiful day please forgive us for any of our sins and trespasses Lord. Heavenly Father we give our day to you today so that you can place what we’re doing in order of importance to you. When we go to work or the store or anywhere Lord please help us to be more caring of others. Help us to be humble Lord. Show us how we can not only love others more but also be able to take advice and love from others. Help us be more like you every day so that we can be the best disciples we can be for you. Thank you for being with us, in us, and around us, and always wrap your loving arms around us holding us as only you can. In Jesus’ precious name amen!

Give A Free Gift Of Prayer!

Prayer is the ultimate gift you can give a person. In Acts chapter three, it tells of the lame man who was begging for money outside of the temple .

“Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.””

They had something more valuable than silver and gold. They knew they possessed the power of prayer. They had a direct line to our maker, our Lord, and Savior who could heal this man. As children of God so do we. Many people are struggling with health issues, finances, relationships, and addictions. Whatever the case may be, ask them if you can pray for them. Don’t wait until you get home to add it to your pray list. Peter did it on the spot with no hesitation. What a joyful thought, imagine all over the world that people are praying for people. We need to follow Peters and John’s example. God bless you 🙏❤️🙏

Jesus, Our Redeemer!

“The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling, a scrubby plant in a parched field. There was nothing attractive about him, nothing to cause us to take a second look. He was looked down on and passed over, a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand. One look at him and people turned away. We looked down on him, thought he was scum. But the fact is, it was our pains he carried— our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought he brought it on himself, that God was punishing him for his own failures. But it was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him— our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises we get healed. We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten lost. We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way. And GOD has piled all our sins, everything we’ve done wrong, on him, on him.”

Dear Heavenly Father, Your love for me is indescribable, Father. Thank you, Lord, for giving your only son to pay the debt for my sins. Jesus, with no sin, took my place on Calvary to shed his blood so I can live. I choose you, Jesus! My creator and redeemer. Thank you for your love, mercy, and grace. Amen
