Made Strong in your Weakness Through Christ!

How can ten simple words be so powerful?

When you believe in Jesus Christ and surrender your life to him. You know whatever challenges life throws your way, God is with you and will give you his strength to endure.

Most of you know, I have been going through some medical issues but I claim this promise;“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isa. 40:31).

Praise God. He is renewing my strength daily. Dependence on God is not a weakness it is the power and strength to allow God to work through us. As the word of God says.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

Glory Be To God! 👏

“Therefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. “Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.”

Take up your cross and follow Jesus!

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬-‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Don’t look backward, Move Forward 👣

Sometimes it seems like our past comes back to haunt us. Whether from choices we made or things that happened to us, the cycle of shame can leave us feeling stuck and unable to move forward.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. Continue Looking forward and being prepared for His return. We must leave the past behind us. Never to be remembered again. I think of lots wife. They were told not to look back. The temptation was too strong. She couldn’t bear to leave the things she loved.

Oh, friend, we know how difficult it is to feel like we are constantly thinking about the choices, decisions, and mistakes we’ve made and then be filled with shame and regret, but what if you end up missing what God has in store for you because you’re too busy looking backward?

When the Israelites were on their way to the promised land, they got stuck in the wilderness and began looking back at what they had in Egypt. It seemed easier to cling to what they knew instead of looking to the unknown ahead. But God had a purpose for their future. And He needed them to move on from what they had left behind first.

Just like He did for the Israelites, God has a purpose for your future, too. He has so much more ahead for you than what you left behind.

I read this on You Version Bible app. I thought it was a great reminder.
