“Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.”
Psalms 143:8 NKJV

Psalms 143:8 NKJV
“I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

I read this and thought how easy it is to have an addiction to a busy life…
Dear Lord, open our eyes to the stronghold of filling our days with busy lives. Father, knock down the wall of active useless activities. Open our minds and hearts to spend the day with you where ever we go and whatever we do. Thank you, Jesus.
Make time for God; He makes time for you.
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.”

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”
James 1:2-3 NKJV
God takes those who were once weak, foolish, unknown, and broken vessels, and through us, He turns the world upside down. Never—for a moment—discount yourself because of your weaknesses or because of what you lack. God loves you. He loves how He made you. And He does His best work through humble, surrendered saints. Look up today and consider the men and women God has used throughout history. Consider the cloud of witnesses cheering you on. Determine to find the ancient path of faith and mark out your steps. Trust God’s heart to use you in ways that are disproportionate to who you are. That’s who He is; that’s what He does. Let your trials train you into a warrior. Allow your hardships to conform you into Christ’s image. Dare to believe that God just might change the world through you. And smile today. You’re someone God loves. Susielarson.com

Jeremiah 6:16a NIV ~ This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.
No one really wants to talk about this but it is a fact of life and it happens to all of us each and every one. My views on death are a little bit different than most, the way it affects me mentally I mean. I’ve had quite a few deaths in my family but also quite a few friends as well. I am a part of the Oakdale Rescue mission and have met quite a few homeless people who have touched my heart greatly. Some of these friends have passed recently and where most are sobbing and sorrowful, I am grateful. This world can be cruel and harsh at times and to know that the loved ones who have passed are patiently waiting in the grave in a wonderful slumber until Jesus comes back gives peace to my heart. Knowing that they are no longer in physical pain from the diseases or ailments that were hurting them up until the very day of their passing. When I first started my walk with God and was visiting the hospitals where my friends lie I was praying that God would heal them. But ultimately it’s God’s will to heal them or not. I realized that by them hanging in there to the very last breath was very painful for most and I felt very selfish for praying for them to have yet another day alive. Friends and family will definitely be missed and there is a mourning process that we must go through and it can be rough at times. God allows this to happen to make us stronger and depend on him through prayer and meditation. The losses that we have in life are spiritual gains in our father’s eyes. We’ve had great moments and awesome memories with most of these persons and have impacted our lives greatly in a positive manner. We must lean into God and know that he has a purpose for everything on the path that he’s laid out for us. It’s okay to ask God why these things happen and why some were taken so early or unexpectedly. I would recommend not being angry with God however because these are just a fact of life, everyone will pass at some point in time in your life. Just remember that one day we will all be in heaven and all see each other again. Lamentations 3:32 “though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.” Psalms 147:3 “he heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” PRAYER, dear heavenly father, thank you for yet another beautiful day. We know that death is just a part of life and that it’s going to happen to all of us. We ask that you were with us today through any of our pains sorrows and turmoil to help relieve these and bring us closer to you. Show us what we should be focusing on today to help us through our mourning processes so that we can be stronger in our faith with you. Thank you for being our savior and our strength in all circumstances. In Jesus precious name, amen.

“A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.”
Psalms 84:10-11 NLT

…He is full of love, mercy, and compassion. He proposes to be our friend, to walk with us through all the rough pathways of life. He says to you, I am the Lord thy God; walk with Me, and I will fill thy path with light. Jesus, the Majesty of heaven, proposes to elevate to companionship with Himself those who come to Him with their burdens, their weaknesses, and their cares. He will make them His dear children, and finally give them an inheritance of more value than the empires of kings, a crown of glory richer than has ever decked the brow of the most exalted earthly monarch… – {TMK 320.3}
