Jesus prayed continually, do you?
Have a prayer of Thanksgiving and gratitude in your heart every day, no matter what you may be going through. God knows your heart and hears your prayers when you reach up to Him. Keep the windows of your heart open with Thanksgiving, praise, and love. May your days be filled with joy and blessings.
Never stop praying
We can pray just about anywhere and I mean that literally. I will pray alot when there’s time to myself, expecially when driving down the road. When I’m at work is super important because it helps out in a pinch or stressful moment. People will come up and ask me to pray for them and instead of doing it later like they are asking, I will do it with them at that time. It helps me to not forget about them through my day and also helps that person to learn how to pray. I’ve heard it said that there was is no wrong way to pray, but I beg to differ. Before my walk with God, my prayers were made with anger and truly one sided. My point is that there is always room for improvement and that God is always there to listen.

pray continually,

Fellowship
To share my adventures through Christ with others, is a joy to myself, sisters and brothers. The look on their faces with His love that unfolds, with the story I’m telling of the future God holds. This brings hope to a person that is lost and broken, sharing hope and wisdom through God’s words that are spoken. Reach out today to a fallen one, by giving words of strength from God’s holy son.
Just listen
I am one of those people who like to share a story after someone else has just shared one with me. Do you know what I mean? After a story has been told, it will remind me of a similar situation that happened to me and prompt me to share it with whomever I am speaking with. Yesterday was a different story however, as I had sat down with a woman I’ve known for a bit, we got to talking and she was telling me her God stories. So many of her stories were just like mine and I couldn’t wait to share them with her but never did because they were back to back. After a bit, it felt like the Holy Spirit was telling me to just listen, so I did. It felt a little weird for me not to share but it felt really good hearing similar stories but from a woman’s perspective. All stories, even if they are similar can sound totally different coming from someone else. The stories may have a bit of a twist, like maybe that person felt a bit of happiness in a sad situation, or how the Holy Spirit led them through that event. The Holy Spirit has been prompting me to do more in the listening department lately which is essential in my walk with God. A great friend of mine has been talking over me lately to the point to where I cannot get a word in edgewise. My cell phone will not pick up my voice on speaker phone if someone else is speaking so I need to wait until they are finished. This has been training me to be patient and to open my ears. The cool part is that I’m able to catch things that would have normally been cut off by me wanting to share. It can be awfully hard to hear God’s still small voice when we are talking so much. Heavenly Father, we would like to hear what you have to say today. Help us to take the cotton out of our ears and place it in our mouths. In Jesus precious name AMEN!
Pain then strength
I was a water driller a number of years ago on a triple rig which is the largest rig that our company owned. Everything on this rig was really heavy and physically exhausting to use throughout our ten hour days. Even though I went to the gym every morning, going to work was like an extended version of my workout. By the time I was home it was time to plop on the couch and not move a muscle. One day my energy level was really high and felt great, ready to conquer my shift. The first thing I had reached for was a pair of slips that weighed around 100 lbs, this item is used to hold the piping up while we took apart the pipe or to add one to another. Turning to throw them in place had suddenly produced a sharp pain in my back, so bad in fact that my 280 lb person let out a little scream and I hit the floor. Trying to pick myself up off the floor was impossible and every movement I made with any extremities made me wince in sheer pain. It took two guys to lift me off the floor and get me to our dog house, (office ). The next month was physically terrible, my wife had to roll my legs to the floor in a seated position so I could stand up and using the restroom was very painful. We had a safety meeting at work upon my return and the boss explained that we needed to stretch before work, especially in these cold winter months when our muscles are stiff. Ever since then whenever something is lifted by me the time and position I use is very well thought out as to not go through that horrible pain again. It has been about 15 years since that had happened but the pinched nerve I had still exists today and sometimes make it hard to do any physical things. With time, patience, and wisdom, I’m able to go about my day. Sometimes we have to go through pain in our life to get to something positive, but we can get through it if we just have faith and pray through these trials in our life. Through all pain we can find victory. Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him- my father’s God, and I will exalt him!
God comforts us!
God blesses us with forgiveness of our sins when we mourn in repentance. We are comforted as God showers us with grace. Truly blessed❤️
