Love one another

Every year my wife and I plus a couple of our close friends make Thanksgiving baskets. We want to show everyone love. Not everyone can afford to have a fancy meal so we love to help as many as we can and God is good. He always supplies the right amount of people and food. These baskets consist of a full turkey sweet potatoes regular potatoes marshmallows green beans, everything that is necessary for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. This year Thanksgiving is creeping up on us and we hadn’t even announced that we were going to be doing them. My wife and I have been so busy with our three businesses that we haven’t had the time to even plan it, but God knows our hearts and knows that we have been yearning to do something great again this year. Normally we would have announced it at a couple different churches, but since all the churches are closed down because of the covid we were unable to. But that doesn’t stop our mighty God. He impressed my wife to speak about it and we were gifted way more money than we normally would have received, plus a place to put everything together. It looks like there’s going to be a bunch of needy families receiving baskets this year! 2 John 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in the beauty inside with his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

Jesus, Remember Me? 🙏

”Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom? ” This was said by one of the criminals, hanging on a cross next to Jesus. The thief on the cross knew he was guilty and was being punished rightly so. Hanging on the cross the thief recognized and believed that Jesus was the Messiah. Upon, hearing the request, Jesus responded, ” I assure you today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Jesus, remember me!

God knows all our needs, including problems and situations we are going through. Having faith in Jesus, like the criminal on the cross, call out to Jesus. Jesus, remember me! He will answer your cry!

“Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’”

Clean

That familiar smell hit my nose as I pulled up to the local landfill. The mix of odors like that of soiled baby diapers, moldy onions, and stale beer and sodas 😝!!! Regardless of the putrid smell, the relief of dumping your garbage and walking away is totally worth it. God asks that of us. He asks us to bring him all our problems and lay them at His feet so that we can feel burden free making it easier to help others. If you want to feel free and help someone in need just hit your knees and ask. “Heavenly Father, thank you so much for yet another beautiful day. I leave you with all my worries, fears, and doubts. I trust and believe that you will lead and carry me through this day so that my burden is light, making it easier to carry someone else. In Jesus name amen!”

“Give all your worries to him, because he cares about you.”
