“You protect the poor; you protect the helpless when they are in danger. You are like a shelter from storms, like shade that protects them from the heat. The cruel people attack like a rainstorm beating against the wall, like the heat in the desert. But you, God, stop their violent attack. As a cloud cools a hot day, you silence the songs of those who have no mercy.”

Make a call to God, no matter what the storm consist of health issues, finances, a relationship that went south, work situations or even an addiction. He is waiting for you to call on him day or night.

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.”

“Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you. With all my heart I will praise you, O Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever, for your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death.”

In Jesus name, Amen. 🙏

That’s the question we will have to answer someday. Will you choose to serve Jesus or compromise with the world to avoid conflict and persecution. Jesus bore pain, suffering, and humiliation of a criminal’s death while carrying the weight of the sins of the world.
Thank you, Jesus!
“You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin. Selah”
Psalms 85:2 NKJV

“As long as you did what you felt like doing, ignoring God, you didn’t have to bother with right thinking or right living, or right anything for that matter. But do you call that a free life? What did you get out of it? Nothing you’re proud of now. Where did it get you? A dead end.

But now that you’ve found you don’t have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.”
Romans 6:20-23 MSG

“And I heard a loud voice from heaven, saying, “Look! The tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them. They shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. ‘God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. There shall be no more death.’ Neither shall there be any more sorrow nor crying nor pain, for the former things have passed away.””
Revelation 21:3-4 MEV

When people hear that something is free, they will stand in line for hours to receive a free gift. Most of them don’t even care what it is, or if they actually need it. The attraction is that it is FREE. I wonder why people all over the world aren’t accepting the FREE GIFT from God. It brings peace and joy to your life. There is no other gift like it in the past, present, or future. God’s gift of enteral life, through his son Jesus, is the most important gift you will ever receive. All you have to do is accept it.

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.”

This sabbath is our first church service in six months due to the COVID. As per the CDC, we can meet outside with masks and social distancing. We have determined Zoom conferencing and YouTube are good resources to use occasionally. However, there is something to be said about worshipping God together as a church family.

Praise God, as people in the neighborhood were walking their dogs they waved and said, ” its nice to see you open again.” people even stopped to see if we were having a garage sale. It made me realize how close our mission field is, right in our neighborhood. 🙏
