God’s Lovingkindness!

God forgives!

“All believers, come here and listen, let me tell you what God did for me. I called out to him with my mouth, my tongue shaped the sounds of music. If I had been cozy with evil, the Lord would never have listened. But he most surely did listen, he came on the double when he heard my prayer. Blessed be God: he didn’t turn a deaf ear, he stayed with me, loyal in his love.”

Give Thanks To God In All Circumstances!

““Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Prayers

On my way to work this morning I was not feeling it. My head felt like I had slept on it all night and my energy was totally zapped. I called a friend of mine and spoke to her briefly about the way that I felt so she prayed for my safety. I asked God to lead my day and give me what was needed to get through it. After I pulled up at my clients house I grabbed my saw and extension cord and headed to the backyard. The homeowner heard me and came out to say good morning but it didn’t end there. Our conversations were about faith and our comical walks with God. We were laughing and telling of how at times we failed miserably at what we thought God was asking of us. After a bit I had looked at the clock thinking that maybe an hour or so had gone by but was much much later. I arrived at 8:30 and it was now 1:45! I told her I would be back tomorrow and hopefully get some work done. She laughed and said that she had the best time. She also said that it was really hard to find someone who will just sit and LISTEN! Praise God for his blessings on our day and answered prayers. God didn’t want today to be all about me, but all about her and I.

Are You Denying God?

Disney, with the help of many parents, has afforded the world with several little princesses. My husband and I were blessed with one granddaughter who was our special princess. When she became a teenager, she announced that she was no longer a princess. When she saw the disappointment on Papa’s face, She quickly whispered in his ear, “I will always be your princess, Papa.”

I wonder how many times we have disappointed, our Heavenly Father? Have we come to the mindset, that being a Christian is not acceptable to be successful? Is it easier to keep your relationship with God undercover, to fit in with your friends? Any way that you look at it, you are denying God.

Jesus said,

“But the one who denies and rejects Me before men, that one I will also deny and reject before My Father who is in heaven.”

Unexpected

Honey bees working !

My wife and I plus our 6 year old daughter were having a relaxing day today when the phone rang. A man on the other end had a situation on his hands and needed our help. He needed to take one of his trailers to the dump when he heard a lot of buzzing. Not thinking, he grabbed a can of wasp killer and started to spray the flying insects. Once he noticed that they were not wasps but honey bees he stopped and called me to come remove them. Upon arrival he showed us where the bees were going in. It was a rather large cabinet too big to remove from the trailer so we had to work around it. We had a chance to show some of his relatives that were there making it educational and fun. We were able to remove the bees and the honey comb safely and quickly while having fun in the process. Praise God we were able to help and show kindness and help out on this beautiful Sabbath day. God isn’t asking us to go to church and return home only to sit there all day. We are to go out and do good for others by showing his love. Luke 6:6-11

“On a certain Sabbath Jesus was walking through a field of ripe grain. His disciples were pulling off heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands to get rid of the chaff, and eating them. Some Pharisees said, “Why are you doing that, breaking a Sabbath rule?”

But Jesus stood up for them. “Have you never read what David and those with him did when they were hungry? How he entered the sanctuary and ate fresh bread off the altar, bread that no one but priests were allowed to eat? He also handed it out to his companions.”

On another Sabbath he went to the meeting place and taught. There was a man there with a crippled right hand. The religion scholars and Pharisees had their eye on Jesus to see if he would heal the man, hoping to catch him in a Sabbath infraction. He knew what they were up to and spoke to the man with the crippled hand: “Get up and stand here before us.” He did.

He looked around, looked each one in the eye. He said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” He held it out—it was as good as new! They were beside themselves with anger, and started plotting how they might get even with him. Then he said, “The Son of Man is no slave to the Sabbath; he’s in charge.”

Then Jesus addressed them, “Let me ask you something: What kind of action suits the Sabbath best? Doing good or doing evil? Helping people or leaving them helpless?””

We may have problems in life but God takes care of us so that we can go out and show love too. God bless all of you and your family.
