Lucifer (Satan) became so impressed with his own beauty, power, and position that he began to desire the honor and glory that belongs to God alone. That was his downfall.

Be careful not to let pride, greed, vanity, and self-righteousness grow in your heart. Leave them all at the feet of Jesus and clothe yourself with humility and love.
