Keep focused on what’s important!

My wife is awesome! She has a huge heart and knows how to use it. She made fudge for all of her clients with a wonderful Christmas card, plus a jar of our honey with a ribbon tied around it. This time of year my work slows down a bit so I asked if I could take some of her presents to clients that I know and she agreed. I took 3 of them and past them out. The last house that I went to was a friend of ours for about 5 years. I hadn’t call anyone to tell them that we were coming so I had caught them and myself off guard upon arrival. The husband had answered the door in his tighty whities and a tee shirt! I wasn’t sure what to do except to hand over the goods and leave but he told me to come in. I didn’t want to be rude so I came in and chatted for a bit. The conversation was incredibly awkward to say the least, but I made it through. Sometimes life can throw unexpected things our way, but if we can just keep our focus on what’s important, God will get us through. Heavenly Father, thank you for another beautiful day , help us to keep focused on what you need us to do so that we can overcome obstacles. In Jesus name, Amen.
