Who doesn’t want Peace?

Since March 2020, it has been a new way of life that no one had ever experienced. States being closed down, small businesses going under, people dying of a contagious virus that we still haven’t been able to contain. Anxiety, fear, and uncertainties loom over us like a shadow of depression. All we want is things to go back to normal. However, Covid-19 robbed us of what we called typical or ordinary. But we are still looking to the world to give us peace through the chaos that is going on.

That is why Jesus told the disciples,

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
