God is always with you!

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 blessed be God even the father of our Lord Jesus Christ the father of mercies, and the God of all comfort who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble. By the comfort with we ourselves are comforted of God. Have you ever gone through something terrible in your life and felt as though God wasn’t there? No matter how hard you pray you feel like He’s not listening or caring. THIS COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! God is always with us no matter what is going on in our lives. Sorry I meant to save that for the end, but I felt like I needed to get that out first and foremost. I remember back in the day when I was hopelessly addicted to drugs, sex and alcohol. I never prayed to God when things were going good. But when the bad things arose that’s when I started yelling at God never talking and never feeling like I had received an answer. After being a Christian for a number of years I started looking back at all the times in my life where I should have been dead either from alcohol or drugs, the people that I was hanging out with, or the places I was in. I realized many many years later that God has been protecting me ALL of my life. We get so wrapped up in our pain that we lose sight of God, not vice versa. If we were and are to keep our focus and prayers on Him through the good, bad, sad, ugly and victorious times then we would see all that He has done and is doing. We all need to work on this, we can never be to close to God. We can distance ourselves however by neglecting our Bible studies, prayer and being too active and not listening to Him. Isaiah 41:10 fear thou not: for I am with thee: be not dismayed: for I am thy God I will strengthen thee yea, I will help thee yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
