Never Forget God Is With Us!

A friend shared this verse and prayer with me this morning. It encourages me to claim the promise that no matter what we are going through, God is with us. He will bring us through our trials, struggles, and life storms.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.”
Issiah 43:2

Good morning heavenly Father. Thank you for another day. Again today Lord, You gave me the same message worded differently. I am weak and You are strong, You can save me because I am helpless. I depend on You for everything and You can take care of the whole world at the same time. You make it clear in this passage, we will experience hardship, problems, heartache, but there is nothing You will not see us through. It may feel like we are drowning in our sorrows, it may feel like we are consumed with the heat of a fire, but You are right there allowing no more than what You have equipped us with to handle. You put out the fires or lift us over them, You hold back the waters from flooding us over. So what do we need to worry about? You have us in Your hand, along with everyone we know and everyone we have never known. You tell us to worry for nothing Because You have it all under control. Thank You for putting this in my heart again today. It seems that we are all worrying about things, especially in our world today. As heavy as it is You still have it in Your hand, you are still in control while it seems there is nothing but conflict and chaos. You are bigger than all that, there is no need for us to worry. We know You do not worry so why would we. Thank You, Father, Help us all to remember that You love us and that it will be okay, You are on it so that we can feel safe, at peace, and have joy no matter what comes our way. I ask all things according to Your will and Your plans in Your precious and holy name Christ Jesus, amen
