Sharing God with others

Matthew 10:32 “whoever publicly acknowledges me I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. Mark 5:19 Jesus did not let him, but said,”go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” The only thing I love more than my miraculous journey with God is being able to share those experiences and stories with others. 2 Timothy 1:8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. But join with me and suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, Yesterday we had a get together for the Oakdale Rescue Mission and it was a blast meeting all the volunteers who have served over the years since we opened. Some of them didn’t know the story about how the mission had evolved in the first place, they were just happy to help the homeless. We have quite a few volunteers, so many in fact that there were some that I hadn’t met yet. My wife and I gave them tours through the rescue missions house that God had blessed us with. It was awesome just to meet them but also to share the story about how the mission had started. I was blessed enough to be at the start of everything, before there was a group. The rescue mission was just a thought and dream of multiple people that hadn’t even met yet and when God finally introduced us all the ball started to roll. One blessing after the next, from meeting at a volunteers house to having a two story house of our own with an awesomely shaded backyard for Bible studies. Meals served 1-2 times a day where we have the opportunity to walk around feeding them spiritually as well as physically. 1 Peter 3:15 but in your hearts Revere Christ as Lord, always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. Our homeless friends are able to take showers and have clean clothes and also receive their mail. We have a mentorship program that has been extremely successful helping others rebuild their lives through Christ. Quite a few of them come back and help out around the house raking up leaves and taking out trash to show their appreciation. It is extremely important for us to go out and share what God has done in our lives. You never know when you could be touching someone’s heart and helping to soften a hardened heart. Daniel 4:2 it is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me. When we first started this mission a lot of people were against us but through showing God’s love, patience, and a lot of hard work people started changing their minds. We have many donors that were skeptical in the beginning and now help out quite often either financially, spiritually, or physically. You never know when someone is going through something terrible, heartbreaking, or painful and your story can lift them up. God has this uncanny way of using others to show his love and I don’t want to miss a chance to do that ever. I have to admit I’ve been a little selfish these last couple years that I haven’t been feeling well, but God showed me yesterday that I need to be more active with my voice in my heart through him. You may think that your stories are small and insignificant but they can leave a major impact on someone’s life in a positive way. I heard someone say once that they don’t read the testimonials in the Bible. If you are not reading the testimonials in the Bible, then you are not reading the Bible. The entire Bible is a testimonial to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It shows you how these three have impacted people’s lives not only then but now. It is our job to go out and give our testimony, sharing the good news. 1 Chronicles 16:8 give praise to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the Nations what he has done. I challenge you today to pray, then go out and just share your story with one person what God has done in your life I believe you’ll be pleasantly surprised had your experience. Please join me in prayer. Dear heavenly father, thank you so much for all that you do in our lives. We would like to be able to go out and share the love hope and understanding that you have shared with us. Please give us the strength to do so, to make someone else’s day better and getting them closer to you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
