Miracles
I do love experiencing miracles myself but also love reading them in the Bible. These are what inspired me to come to Christ. There’s many ways that people come to Christ because God almost always uses different avenues, seeing as though we all have different circumstances. Matthew 9:20 – 22 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak I will be healed.” Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.”And the woman was healed from that moment. Can you imagine bleeding for 12 long years? At that moment in time if that had happened to you you would be considered unclean and unable to attend events and be seen in public. This woman however was sick and tired of how her life was unfolding and decided to take a leap of faith. This may not have seemed like a huge leap for us but she could have been stoned to death just being in the vicinity of Jesus, let alone touch the very fabric that draped His body. Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Just by touching a piece of cloth of our Holy One she believed that that and only that would cure her! And He did! Just remember that a mustard seed is a very small seed, but just that teenie tiny bit of faith can give us immeasurable strength. Heavenly Father, thank you for yet another beautiful day! Thank you for the chance to be better Christians then we were that day before. Forgive us for our sins Lord set us back on your path. Help to increase our faith in you today by witnessing all the little and large miracles throughout our day. In Jesus name, Amen!
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35 NIV https://john.bible/john-6-35

How Big is God?
A boy asked his dad, ” How big is God?”
The father looked up to the sky and saw a plane and asked his son ” How big is this plane?”
The boy replied, ” It is very small. I can hardly see it.”
Then, the father took him to the airport and as they approached a plane, he asked, “Son, how big is this plane?
The boy replied, “Wow dad, it’s huge!
Then the father explained, ” GOD’s size depends on how close or far you are to him. The closer you are to him, the Greater and Greater he will be in your life!

When I read the verse of the day, I thought of this story I read last week. The closer you are to God the bigger he is. 💕
Through weakness we find strength!
I was talking with Karen this morning and she was asking why I haven’t been writing about something that’s going on in my life at this moment. The fact is I’ve been so focused on my problem that I haven’t even thought about writing. I am 41 years old and have been having physical problems the last year-and-a-half. Lately they figured out that something was wrong with my heart. So I had to go in and have an angiogram done plus a stent put in. I never thought that I would be having heart problems at such a young age. Everything was fine and good when I first got to the hospital and even through the procedure. When I got out of the procedure room however that was a different story. They weren’t going to keep me overnight it was an in and out process. Even though I knew I was going home that evening I was filled with anger and depression. I think a lot of it had to do with the sedative that they give you during your procedure. I felt so weak and helpless and I don’t like that feeling, who does right? The anger was getting to me so much so I thought I was going to walk out of that hospital on multiple occasions. Luckily God had placed my wife next to me during this ordeal. Even though I was not very nice to her she was very relaxed and calm. I felt so bad about the way that I treated her. And even the next couple of days after the procedure I was not being very nice. All my life I have ran off of my physical strength. I’m not one to sit at home and do nothing because I feel worthless, so for me to be laid up in bed either at hospital or at home felt like nonsense. I made multiple phone calls this morning to help me get rid of the anger because no matter how much I prayed it seemed as though it wouldn’t subside. Of course I didn’t know until today that that is what my problem was. God had already answered my prayers by putting great friends in my life to help guide me and talk me through things. Praise God for answered prayers with friends and family who have patience and understanding. Praise God that we can come to him in our time of need.
1 Peter 4:10
We have all been given gifts today by our Heavenly Father. I’m not talking about physical presents, but talents that He has bestowed upon us. Some have a great listening ear and some have the gift of cooking. Others have the gift of speaking out to others and some have the greatest hugs. We are also very smart at certain things like building house or repairing cars, plumbing or craft ideas. We can sew or mend torn items. Some of us make a lot of money that we can afford donate, “Not my talent!” Then there’s some of us that will give our posessions to others or finding great deals on items to help someone else. The point is that we were all given different gifts so that we can make other person’s life easier, but most of us keep these gifts to ourselves not knowing that they could be shared with others. “Can I be bold and asks how you could use your gifts to help others today? ” If you don’t see how your particular gifts can help out today, then fold your hands and pray with me. Dear Heavenly Father, please help and guide me in using my special talents and gifts that you’ve given me. How can I help others today to make their life a little bit easier Lord. Thank you for these gifts that you have bestowed upon us. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Not my will, but Thine be done!
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14 NIV https://1john.bible/1-john-5-14
Before we even Ask!

Several years ago I attended a prayer conference in Yosemite. My favorite activity was called, Time alone with God. We were asked to find a secluded place to pray on what God laid on our heart. I decided to pray for my Sabbath school students. I asked God to help them in school, to guide them to make good life choices, place a hedge of protection around them and lead them to give their hearts to Jesus. I was impressed to open my bible as my eyes fell on Isaiah 65:24. I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers. God speaks to us from his word. I will never forget this verse and the exact time and place when God revealed it to me. It encourages me every time I pray.
Most of you know Matthew from reading his stories that he shares on our blog. Tomorrow he will be having an angiogram. Please pray today and tomorrow for a complete and speedy recovery. If I know Matthew, he will have several blessings from this journey that he will be sharing in a few days. Thank you for your prayers🙏
God Bless, Karen
