Sweet
My wife and I were driving down the road having a conversation and the word “stupid”, had popped out of my mouth. Not in anger or anything like that but my 5-year-old daughter was in the back seat and was offended by what was said. She said, “Dad, that’s a bad word and it’s not apropreate to say”! I understand that it’s misspelled, she was trying to say appropriate for anyone who couldn’t guess. It was too cute and I laughed a little. She told me that it was not funny, so I apologized and told her she was right, that I should never have said that. On occasion, things can pop out of our mouths that we may think are appropriate, but can hurt others feelings. Often times I say a prayer in the morning for only God’s words to pass my lips and not mine looks like that needs to be an everyday prayer. Proverbs 16:24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Forgiven world in Gods hands!

When I was young and sang the song, He’s got the whole world in his hands, I felt safe in Gods hands. When I saw the above picture and read it, He’s got the whole FORGIVEN world in his hands, I feel loved.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Live Gods word!
Going to church, reading our Bible, and being involved in a Bible study doesn’t change your life unless you put to practice what you’ve learned. God wants you to live his word, be a testimony for him, let his light shine through you and love others as he loves. We never know who is watching and the impact you are making on their life.
Patience
I was a bodybuilder not too long ago and I was very driven. Commitment for perfection was a gift that was a God-given gift. Every part of my body that needed to be bigger happened so quickly because of my motivation and dedication. I would go on a run-up in the hills with hardly anyone else around. I would run uphill traversing between rocks and trees, jumping over obstacles and Climbing rocks that were in my path. When I was physically exhausted, my legs were on fire and tight, feeling like I couldn’t possibly take another step, then and only then I would turn around and run back to my car. I have been trying to run that same kind of race in my walk with God and am learning that you need to walk before you can run. I find myself tripping over my own feet and often times falling flat on my face. God is good however and teaches me to slow down as to not tumble over and over. Have faith, and ask God to help you walk first before running. Relax in knowing that He is right there to catch you. It may take a bit to build the spiritual muscle that is needed to get through this life. God is in control and He wants you to prevail.
God, our solid Rock

Surrender ALL to God! Don’t hold anything back, Don’t try to manipulate the situation on what you want or how you think it should work out. God is all-knowing, almighty, powerful and in His timing, He will accomplish more than we can ever imagine. He always knows what’s Best!
GLORY BE TO GOD!
Psalm 119:105

Last year my friend painted this picture for me for my birthday. I call it Psalm 119:105; Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.
The poem says when we’re all shook up and don’t know what to do, grab your Bible and pray for a light. Yes, That is when we truly have sight. Jesus is the light of the world that lights up our path.
Thank you, Jesus, 🙏
Trusting God!

Trusting God means to be at peace with whatever he wants. Aligning our will with Gods will. God wants us to put Him first in our lives by putting all of our trust and confidence in Him in everything we do. It reminds me of the scripture; Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all of your ❤️ and do not lean on your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your path.
Confession

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
