Have You Experienced God’s Love?

Blessed

Sharing

I watched a video of a man waiting to board an airplane but the flight was delayed. He wasn’t sure how long his delay would be so he purchased multiple cookies at the airport cafe. He proceeded to go and take a seat to finish reading his newspaper while he waited. He placed his belongings in the chair next to him and started reading the paper. On top of the table was a box of cookies so he proceeded to take one. There was a man sitting across the table from him and he too reached in and grabbed a cookie. The man got a little irritated with the other man that grabbed a cookie but didn’t say anything because he didn’t want to make a scene. Every time the owner grabbed a cookie the other man would grab one also till it came down to the last cookie. The man across the table grabbed the last one, looked at the owner, broke the cookie in half and gave it to him. The other man grabbed the empty package of cookies and took it with him when he left. The man couldn’t believe the nerve of this guy. All of the sudden over the intercom his flight had reconvened. So the man folded up his newspaper reached over grabbing his belongings from the seat and realized there was a full package of cookies under his things! Here he had been so upset at this other man who was taking his cookies when ultimately he was taking his. The other man shared and was happy about doing so, even sharing the last one. We can all take a note from this we should all be sharing with others the way that the other man did. Will you have an opportunity today to do the same? Hebrews 13:16

Call Upon The Name Of The Lord!

Lay it at His feet

Do you ever feel like no one understands you or what your going through in your life? Death in the family or nasty divorce. Illness, maybe cancer or some other deadly disease. Depression or anxiety stricken every day to where you won’t leave your house. Are you lonely and unable to make friends, or when you do do they seem to fail you? Do you have some addictions, alcohol, drugs, pornography, gambling, shopping or eating. There is only one who knows it all, someone who understands what we are going through a million times over. God has heard, seen, felt and been through it all. He knows the devils tricks inside and out, the same ones that has been used on humans for many years over. Have you confessed your sins to Him today. Lay you problems down at His feet this morning before you start your day and see how you feel. Sometimes I forget to do this and my day ends up crummy. When I do lay it at his feet my day goes a lot better. Pray with me now. Dear heavenly father thank you for yet another beautiful day. Please forgive us for any of our sins and trespasses Lord known and unknown. Lord we give you all of our stresses worries fears problems and addictions this morning, we lay them at your feet. Today we do not want to be burdened with these things so that we may be better disciples for you to others. Help us to stay on your righteous path The road less traveled. And if we happen to fall please pick us up and dust us off Lord in Jesus precious name amen.

Start your Morning with Jesus!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for waking me up so early this morning. Thank you for being on my mind. Lord, you are the Alpha & Omega the beginning and the end. Father, you know the future and what it holds. Teach us and guide us to draw closer to you. Let us depend on you, for you are faithful, merciful, and full of grace. Let our faith grow like a corn stalk that stands out in the field. May you shine like a brilliant light through us drawing people to you. Father, give us wisdom and knowledge, as we share you with the world. Father, I lift up our church family. Draw them nearer to you dear, Lord. Give them the desire to share your word with others. Pour us out and fill us with the outpouring of your Holy Spirit. Let it bubble up and overflow to others that you place on our path.
Father, I pray for the sick all over the world. They need your healing hands to reach out and touch them. I ask you also, Lord to protect and save our families. If they are saved help them to endure to the end. If they are not living for you, please massage their stony hearts and lead them back to you. If they have not experienced you please continue to reveal yourself to them. Place someone in their lives to mentor them along the way. Father, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I ask this all in Jesus’ name amen.
