God, thank You for saving me. It is really freeing to realize that I can stop trying to save myself—because I can’t. Only Jesus can do that. Nothing can separate me from Your love, and Your love is made evident through the power of Jesus. Today, help me to receive that. And let that truth change the way I live. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Please read my heart, Lord!

Have you ever felt that you can’t put into words how your heart feels? You want to tell God everything and you’re not able to formulate your thoughts. All you can do is sit in his presence and let him read your heart.

“You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.”

His Grace is Sufficient!

Christ will never abandon those for whom He has died. We may leave Him and be overwhelmed with temptation, but Christ can never turn from one for whom He has paid the ransom of His own life. Ellen white

It’s not what I can do for God, but what he has done for me. He died for me so that I can have enteral life. His grace is sufficient! Nothing can separate me from the love of God. ❤️

Years ago I tried to live a moral life, be a good person. However, when I surrendered and died to my sinful nature, was when Christ moved into my heart. It is through him that I live, breathe, love, and hope. As the scripture says: “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.”

There is NO shame in God!

You’re a child of God, don’t be ashamed!

Have you ever been accused of being a Jesus freak, maybe a holy roller, or a goody-two-shoes? Just because you’re a child of God. You’ve been left out of conversations when jokes and language are not appropriate. Maybe not invited to join coworkers out for the evening because they decided on an R-rated movie. Don’t get mad, or upset count yourself fortunate. Be proud of who you are and, who you belong to. Remember; it’s the Spirit of God and His glory in you that make people notice you. Continue to let God’s light shine through you everywhere you go. You belong to the King of the universe. Honor God as you bear Christ’s name.

“But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!”

Redemption through Jesus!

As you travel through life and you feel alone. The road is difficult and rough from addictions, pride, selfishness, lust, and desires of your heart. Call upon the way maker, Jesus. Christ our Savior. Surrender it all to Him. He will clear your path and break your chains of sin. God will rescue you from the broad road that leads to destruction. He will place you on the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life.

Heavenly Father, thank You for rescuing me from eternal separation from You. It’s because of You that I am set free! But I also know there is still more restoration to be done in me. So please continue to heal me by Your grace, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”

Are you spiritually dehydrated? 🥛

I often wonder why we live our lives spiritually parched. Our souls are dehydrated for God, He is the living water. Jesus said, “come and drink and you will never be thirsty again.” The world also pleads come drink of me, I can give you pleasure, success, wealth and whatever your heart desires. The problem is, that the world does not satisfy. You will always be thirsty for more, and more. It’s like filling a bottomless pit. You will never be satisfied. Drink at the free fountain of God, you will never be thirsty again.

“The LORD says, “All you who are thirsty, come and drink. Those of you who do not have money, come, buy and eat! Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend your money on something that is not real food? Why work for something that doesn’t really satisfy you? Listen closely to me, and you will eat what is good; your soul will enjoy the rich food that satisfies.

So you should look for the LORD before it is too late; you should call to him while he is near. The wicked should stop doing wrong, and they should stop their evil thoughts. They should return to the LORD so he may have mercy on them. They should come to our God, because he will freely forgive them.”

He is waiting for you.

I was marvelously made!

When I shattered my wrist the doctor stated, it was in so many pieces he didn’t know for sure how it would mead. After seven weeks with the above hardware screwed in my arm. I was sent to have an X-ray. I was told to bring them with me to my appointment the next morning. I could not wait to know how my wrist was healing. I told my husband, “I’m going to search online, for an X-ray of a wrist and compare it to my X-ray.” My husband laughed and said, ” honey, you won’t even know what you’re looking at.” “I know, “ I said under my breath. “ But, I want to see how God healed it. “

At our appointment, Dr. Kenzie said, “ Ok, let’s see how it looks.” I confessed I had already looked and compared them to an x-ray online. He smiled and said, “well let’s look at them together.” “Amazing,” he said. “It looks like a wrist that had never been shattered.” I knew that God had healed my wrist. It was smooth, with nothing out of place. That’s how our creator puts us back together. He knows us from the inside out.

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.”

Worst fear

We’ve all been asked at one point in time in our life, “What is your worst fear?” Some of us say drowning others May say being in a car crash, or even burning to death. All of these are valid and can be very fearsome in my answer was one of those. I have been sick for going on 2 years now and the doctors haven’t been able to figure out what’s going on with me. Slowly but surely I started losing my memory. One day I was in a parking lot I couldn’t find my car in some would say that’s not awful that’s happened to me before. For me however I couldn’t remember which car I drove or where I parked or who I came with. Fear had set in of being lost. I couldn’t even remember my wife’s name after I figured out who I came with or where she was. Luckily I had the bags of the store that we just came out of in my hand so I was able to head that direction until my wife and child found me. Slowly but surely I started forgetting regular things small things but then they started magnifying as the months had passed. I had even forgotten my own birthday and my address to where I lived, but that’s not what really got to me. One day I completely forgot my daughter’s birth date I thought I had it in my mind and I said it out loud but I knew it wasn’t right. My worst fear has changed! My worst fear at this very moment is forgetting who my loved ones are. It saddens me to think that one day I could wake up and not remember anything. The look on my daughter’s face of being forgotten by her own father. I’m trying to keep my focus on God right now because I know that he will never forget me and what my family and I going through. I trust that God has a plan for me and my family and that we will be taking care of. Psalms 34:4 says I sought the Lord and he answered me, he delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me.” We think there are a lot of things to be fearful of in this world. But so long as we are walking strong in our faith with God we have nothing to fear. Things will make us sad things will touch our heart and horrible things may happen but God is always there to be our leader our protector our shield and our comforter.

The King of Glory!

The Lord Almighty’

“Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory. Interlude”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24:7-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God, You are the King of glory! You are above all things and it is by You that all things are held together. Thank You for Your faithful love, compassion, mercy, and forgiveness. Thank You for shining brightly in our world throughout history. Right now, shine brightly through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fix your eyes and heart on Jesus!

“So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.”
